Caneleira

A large gold-bearing structure

The Caneleira discovery is a gold-bearing structure defined over approximately 1000 metres. Historical drilling results from the Caneleira target undertaken in 2007 by a predecessor company were reinterpreted by Lavras Gold, resulting in the reclassification of this target as a discovery. Caneleira includes meaningful gold grades across significant widths including 36.1 metres grading 1.42 g/t gold and holes that bottomed in mineralization. It is possible that Caneleira is connected to the Zeca Souza discovery.

Historically, nine holes were drilled holes at Caneleira totaling 1673 metres. Assays have been returned for the first 5 drill holes, all of which reported significant gold mineralization. Of note, drill hole LDH-110 intersected 36.1m @ 1.42 g/t. Au (from 70.4m to 106.5m).

Follow-up exploration was undertaken on various targets on the Caneleira concession during the latter part of 2024.

Note that the Caneleira Discovery sits within the Caneleira Concession (claim block) which also hosts the Olaria Discovery and many other potential gold targets.
