Galvão

Potential southern extension of Zeca Souza

The Galvão discovery was made in the second quarter of 2023.

The Galvão Gold Discovery is important because it shows the potential depth of the gold system at Lavras. This discovery saw a 10-metre-long interval of 4.6 g/t gold starting at 532 metres down the drill core (which is 461 metres vertical depth) that included a 3-metre subinterval grading 11.7 g/t gold.

Gold mineralization at Galvão was traced intermittently over 450 metres in strike length over a north-south direction and remains open to expansion. The working hypothesis is that Galvão may be the southern extension of Zeca Souza.

At Galvão, drillhole 22BT001 encountered visible gold associated with cross-cutting silicified zone within hydrothermally altered perthitic granite at Galvão. A sample taken from 407 metres to 408 metres grades 16.3 g/t gold.

Location of Galvão relative to the Zeca Souza discovery and Butiá Gold Deposit.
