Matilde
Mineralization found in 30 of 33 holes drilled to date
In Q4 2022, the Company announced drilling results from the Matilde Gold target, where another gold discovery was confirmed.
Matilde lies along a coincident 3-kilometre-long gold-in-soil anomaly centered on an east-west trending magnetic-low anomaly that is interpreted to be a major gold-hosting structure. The drill program has defined a gold system with mineralization that:
- begins at surface
- has been traced over a strike length of at least 250 metres
- extends to a minimum vertical depth of 483 metres.
The deposit is open for expansion along strike and at depth.
Matilde has several different styles of gold mineralization including long intervals of low-grade mineralization, accentuated by higher grade subintervals, such as 144.6 metres grading 0.7 g/t gold and including 27.0 metres grading 1.0 g/t gold; and narrow zones of visible gold with bonanza gold grades including 0.60 metres grading 30.9 g/t gold.
Hole 22MT-034 is noteworthy because it was drilled to a vertical distance of 483 metres, where it bottomed in gold mineralization, suggesting that Matilde has deep roots typical of intrusive-hosted mineral systems.
Matilde and Matilde Extension…possibly connected areas of strong mineralization

Matilde Extension Altered Host Rock – monzonite-Granodiorite with Sulphides (Bornite, Chalcopyrite, Pyrite) – elevated levels of silver, copper, lead, zinc.
